Great meeting last night, our casual coffee night was a huge success, thank you to everyone for bringing in all of the fabulous treats. We had a great follow up discussion around the Toronto Woodworking Show, as well as a number of terrific questions on a number of topics.
The number of pieces brought forward during the gallery was awesome, please keep bringing in your projects, everyone picks up something from each of the gallery submissions.
Next week, we’ll be hosting a demonstration and discussion on glue up techniques, Chris will be leading the discussion. As well, Dan will be taking a few minutes to talk about our new web site.
Housekeeping
- Wednesday night is open turning night, start time is 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
- Thursday night the shop is book for Wayne Pye & Wayne Peden, they’ll be discussing cabinet builds for the new library, start time 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
- As the shop will be booked on Thursday night, Chad will keep the shop open from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, if you would like to use the shop, please feel free to stop in any time before 6:00 pm.
- The Brooklin carving show will be coming up this Saturday, March 9th. The event will be held at the Brooklin community center, start time 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, admission is free, donations accepted.
